Founded 1883 by Lazarus and Rosenfeld, Ltd. 1885 it was sold to Franz Schmidt. It was the largest factory. The factory’s main concern was commercial production and was not concerned with artistic value. Still though, it produced some high quality pieces. It also manufactured a ceramic called porelite, a substandard version of porcelain. In 1945 it merged with the Altrohlau Porcelain Factories and the EPIAG factories to become a part of Starorolskэ Porcelбn, then Karlovarskэ Porcelбn Starб Role II in 1958. See the Factory Mergers, Associations and Nationalizations table.
